POSITION: PLANNER – SA CONSUMER BRANDS
REPORTS TO: PLANNING MANAGER – SA CONSUMER BRANDS
LOCATION: BRYANSTON – HEAD OFFICE

JOB OBJECTIVE:
• Assist in driving the Planning strategy in line with the Operations plan
• Execute with excellence against the plan to ensure delivery of key KPI’s
• Support the S&OP process to improve efficiencies and ensure business excellence within Operations
• Support the end to end Planning process to effectively create and maintain supply whilst ensuring accuracy

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Key member of the Operations team, supporting the S&OP process
• Support the end to end planning process ensuring effective supply of finished goods across the Consumer Division
• Generate packaging and raw material plans to ensure sufficient material availability
• Create effective production schedules meeting demand requirements whilst enhancing manufacturing efficiencies
• Minimise planned production and volume changes
• Ensuring cost to serve with respect to Net Working Capital targets
• Adhere to innovation / NPD timelines
• Perform material management using effective MRP systems
• Maintain accurate master data
• Support planning and inventory system requirements and facilitate efficiencies
• Assist with material risk mitigation

OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
• Ensure delivery of KPIs.
• High workplace operations standards and ethics
• Act with integrity – honour commitments, take responsibility for decisions, and behave consistently.
• Maintain appropriate communication within and between the functional areas of the Commercial Operations Team

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
• Qualification in Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Sound analytical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5yrs Planning experience in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare is beneficial
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
