A large multidisciplinary Construction company operating throughout South Africa, Africa and the Middle East is looking for suitably qualified Planner with a sound knowledge of heavy concrete structures with 10 years’ experience in Piling or Geotechnical related construction with at least 5 years as planner and 5 years’ experience on Primavera P6 & CCS and who are prepared to travel when necessary.

Job Description:

Planning for tenders, budgets and assistance with site planning.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Compile tender and project execution programmes
• Resource load programmes, produce baseline programmes and produce production monitoring data.
• Assist with methods planning and set up of WBS
• Assist sites from time to time with progress on programmes and produce progress reports.
• Compile as built programmes.
• Collate production statistics.
• Mentor engineers and planners in the department
• Travel both locally and internationally to work on tenders

Skills, Experience & Education:

B Eng (Civil), B Tech, S4 Civil Engineering Diploma or similar construction management qualification.
• Ability to compile tender programmes using Primavera P6, CCS Site Plan and Microsoft Project.
Computer literate – Excel & Word.
• 10 years’ experience in Piling or Geotechnical related construction with at least 5 years as planner
• 5 years’ experience on Primavera P6 and CCS
