A South African EPC supplier is looking for a Planner to develop all relevant schedules, supply supporting documentation and tracking tools, for a variety of projects ranging from New Business Development Proposals to detailed Execution and Commissioning Schedules. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: • Diploma in Project Management Minimum • Demonstrated 3 - 5 years' experience as a Junior Planner Knowledge/Skills/Requirements: • Experience in MS Projects • Knowledge in Primavera software • Experience within the mining and engineering sector • Permanent/Contract Position Responsibilities: • Develop / Identify Work Breakdown Structure for Project Schedules • Develop Schedule precedence, identify and maintain the Critical Path of the Project • Develop the Baseline on the approved Schedule and manage the Project Change Control Process and revisions to the Baseline • Develop Master Schedules as per Company Standards for Client approval • Develop and maintain a Basis of Schedule for the Project • Co-ordinate and maintain constructability reviews and integration between disciplines • Provide key dates and sequencing into the POP Schedule • Contribute appropriately to daily, weekly and monthly reports • Review sub-contractor / supplier Schedules and incorporate key dates into the Master Schedule • Measure performance against requirements and provide feedback and support • Promote the Company’s standardised planning practices and reporting systems • Provide coaching and support of other Planning staff
