Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business or Economics
5 years’ of experience in Planning within an FMCG environment
Responsibilities
Identifying powerful and relevant insights that will help grow our brands and our business, alongside interpreting, assessing and communicating consumer response to our marketing initiatives, activities and ideas
Working closely with the assigned business team and will be expected to become respected as the expert in consumer understanding
Negotiating with and influencing your key stakeholders as required
Using and maximising the company’s internal knowledge to be pro-active in providing better business solutions to the overall business
Initiating and managing market research aimed at generating consumer and customer insights and trends
Providing guidance and training to business teams on market research techniques and analytical tools (Qualitative and Quantitative)
Plan, track and manage market research budget
Analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data and, recommend, communicate opportunities and learnings from this analysis and their implications to the business
Work with a focussed team to drive potential growth opportunities in Africa
