Our Tyre manufacturing client in JHB requires someone who has worked and ran the Tyre factory or Retread factory

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 or N3 Technical Course
• Qualified Artisan (Mechanical, Electrical or Machinist)
• The candidate should ideally have managed a retread and brake refurbishment factory with at least 8 to 10 practical experience. Experience
in powder coating and upholstery work would be an added advantage.
• Experience in plant maintenance and repair is essential.

JOB OUTPUTS

• Responsible for managing the tyre retread plant; brake reline plant; rim powder coating plant and the upholstery plant.
• Adhere to production budget, minimise material shrinkage, stock control and maintain quality/ safety in the work place.
• Control logistics related to collection and delivery of goods
• Compile daily production reports
• Maintenance of machinery
• Liaison with suppliers
• Ensure housekeeping is kept at acceptable levels
• Quality inspection
• Conduct regular tool inspections
