Our Client, a metal/steel manufacturing Company, based in Richards Bay, urgently requires a dynamic, dependable and motivated Plant Manager to contribute to the optimization of overall plant performance with regards to cost, quality, personnel, safety and service.

Requirements:

Valid drivers’ license
Bsc degree in Engineering
Computer Literacy: SAP/ERP experience
APICS CPIM, or APICS CSCP Certified
Proven track record of 5 years' experience in the field with contactable landline references
TPM hands on experience

Key Performance Areas:

Manage all conversion operations through processing and packing to handover for dispatch
Define the key capacity parameters identifying constraints for production planning.
Achieving annual committed manufacturing excellence savings
Leading the implementation of the combined ISO9000/14000/18000 systems throughout the factory and thereby assuring certification and maintenance of said systems
Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new product
