PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. Basic salary from 3500 up to 6325 QAR per month. 6325 QAR is equal to +/- 5070 TND / 122 400 INR / 91 240 PHP.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

Minimum Education: 3 years Nursing Diploma after completion of 9 years General Education + Successful completion of “Qatar Plaster Course” at Employer during probationary period.

Preferred Education: B.Sc. in Allied Health + Successful completion of “Qatar Plaster Course” at the Employer during probationary period.

Experience:

Minimum Experience: 1 year in the field of plaster application techniques or Trauma Care or Wound Care Management.

Preferred Experience: 3 years in the field of plaster application techniques or Trauma Care or Wound Care Management.

Required certification/licensure:

N/A

Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Position Summary:

This role is responsible for the safe, optimum operation of the casting services in the Orthopaedic Surgery department through adhering to departmental protocols and ensuring a high quality of service to patients.

Principal Accountabilities:

Work ranges from routine emergency casting to complex and precision use of a full range of materials for the design and construction of custom-built casts
Assist the Orthopedic Doctor in applying all types of casts, splints, immobilizers, and soft braces.
Removal of plaster casts from hands, legs, arms and feet for patients.
Work closely with other Orthopaedic Department Registered Nursing and Medical staff and participate in the structured tuition of casting principles and skills
Setting up the plaster room at the beginning of clinic and tidying plaster room at the end of the clinic.
Performs other duties as required.
