Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Plastic Extrusion & Castline Operator to join their Manufacturing team in a Shift position. This is a permanent position based in eThekwini, Pietermaritzburg, Durban.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 10 / Matric, Plastics Certificate advantageous
• Own Reliable Transport
• Ability to work shifts and extended hours
• 3 years minimum in a plastics extrusion role, not injection moulding
• Must be from a Manufacturing, Production, Operations background and have experience in castline, machine & die setting, plastic extrusion and extruder duties
• Injection molders will not eb considered for this position

• Must be willing to work weekends / public holidays

Duties:
? SHE conditions in the plant are assured
? Lead activities, 5S and kaizen
? Chill roll and casting unit clean, Winder cleaning, MDO cleaning, Co-ex and main dosing filter cleaning
? Cleaning & Grinder operation under assistant of OP, Sr.OP, Startup of TDO grinder, Feeding scrap into TDO grinder, Isolate type of different waste
Move all NRW waste (lumps, sweepage waste ,pallets, empty bag in scrap yard area)
? Good interpersonal & Communication skill, Supervising, Learning, Informing, Reporting, Deciding, Checking Objects
? Reviewing, Using Instruments, Teamwork, Following Instructions, Checking Written Information, Performing physical tasks, Using a Keyboard/Computer, Calculating/Counting
? Knowledge of Metallizer and Met slitter operation
? Documentation & Inventory Management
? Manpower Handling
? Supervision of House keeping and 5S
? Safety Precautions
