Project Management Office (PMO) Administrator

A client based in the North/West area of Johannesburg, has a vacancy for a PMO Administrator. It is a 12m Contract position.

Duties and responsibilities:
Set up, Initiation and Planning
Obtain document approval, sign offs and ensure document uploads
Set-up of project office environment
Project Take on n Remediation
Register Projects
Assist PMO Manager in the remediation progress updates (heat maps)
Provide Support to Managers and Project teams on all functional areas
Provide support and coaching to project teams on the governance and project lifecycle
Prove support and assistance in regard to change requests and change control
Obtain project deliverables sign offs
Assurance
Assist in updating the quality assurance report
Review quality health indicators (correlation between heath indicators and detail)
Comments and feedback (correlation between comments and detail – provides interpretation for the Sponsor)
Tasks –updated, correlation between objectives and deliverables, displayed at right level of detail
Cost updates and draw attention to non-compliance of project methodologies procedures and standards
Contract Management
Obtain Milestone certificates sign-offs
Assist in formulating and maintaining billing schedule
Administration
Meetings and Project Office
Schedule meetings and set-up
Prepare meeting documentation (attendance register, agendas, presentations etc.)
Taking of Minutes
Distribute reports and meeting output to approved stakeholders

Qualifications and experience required:
Matric
Diploma in Project Management/CAPM
Microsoft Project
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
5+ years as a PMO Lead/Administrator
