PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
From 4400 QAR up to 7935 QAR per month. 7935 QAR +/- 26 000 ZAR, 1800 EUR , 1600 GBP. Salary paid in QAR.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

2 years diploma in Nursing, Podiatry, or clinical discipline

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.


Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.

Minimum Experience: (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

Minimum Experience: 1 year worked in medical field.

Preferred Experience: 3 years worked in medical field.


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Summary:

Within the mission, vision and values of the Employer and the Department of Medicine, Actively participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating Podiatric Services within the State of Qatar to provide individualized, quality patient care to those with disorders, diseases and injuries of the foot, ankle, and/or lower leg.

Principal Accountabilities:

Assesses the patient with a problem of the foot, ankle and/or lower leg
Assists the Podiatric Consultants, Podiatric Physicians, and Podiatrists with procedures and other clinical activities within his/her scope of practice.
Documents data in the patient’s file utilizing the SOAP Format. All entries must be legible and in English
Assures that patient/family education, including continuum of care, is an integral part of the patient’s individualized treatment plan. Assists in developing patient’s teaching pamphlets.
Follow Infection Control Procedures at all times
Demonstrates effective communication skills when interacting with patients, families, peers and other disciplines
Maintain the Podiatric Clinics supplies (requesting store items, purchase requisitions, organize, and keep records of inventories).
Creates a suitable communication channels between Podiatric Practitioners and inpatient’s administration. (receives and schedule inpatient’s consults from different departments).
Cooperate with all Podiatric Staff in setting a safe, clean, and organized environment for quality patient care
Adapts to change productively and handles other essential tasks as assigned
Keep necessary records and filing for Podiatric Clinics activities to follow the clinic performance
