They are currently sourcing a Polymer Sales Engineer to sell thermal spray coatings (Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) hard-facing) with a primary focus on polymer coatings and extensive product refurbishment services into industry. Appropriate training will be provided. The ideal candidate will reside in the Johannesburg area and will have 10 years of experience in polymer coatings/technical sales and exposure to a manufacturing environment. Great earning potential, offering a basic monthly salary and uncapped commission earnings.

Job description / core competencies:
• Able to operate largely independently.
• Able to manage customers from quote to payment cycle.
• Develop sales plan and review weekly with MD.
• Achieve agreed sales target (as agreed with MD).
• Negotiate tender / contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
• Prepare quotes, within 24 hours of receiving the enquiry, in the company format.
• Give timeous and proper feedback to customers on delivery dates, etc.
• Remains current in terms of all technologies relevant to the industry.
