Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists in operations and maintenance of all machineries/equipment in the entire fleet.
• Determines the fuel, lube oil, and other consumables required for a voyage(s)
• Inventory for spare parts, oversees fuel, lube, and slop oil transfers.
• Oversees all major maintenance, is required to be in the engine room during manoeuvring operations.
• Ensure adequate spares and stores are on-board.
• Assists in dry-docking & repair.
• Monitoring and involving in spare parts purchase and its movements. Liaison between maintenance and operations departments.
• Inspect & prepare the vessels for all types of classification survey such as special survey, annual survey including preparing documents for classification society and port authorities.
• Hiring the qualified manpower to be engaged on boats such as Masters, Chief Engineers etc.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 year experience as a Port Engineer of vessel having not less than 750 Kw diesel engines.
• Must be able to read write & speak English.
• Familiarization & Basic Safety Training (Personal Survival Techniques , Fire Prevention & Fire Elementary, First Aid, Personal Safety & Responsibility)
• PC literate with strong report writing skill.
