Our client, an international insurance group in various territories throughout Africa and offices in London, is currently looking to expand their team with a Portuguese Insurance Consultant in their brand new offices in Cape Town, South Africa. You will act as a data processor and be responsible for data entry, distribution and filing of documentation as well as client liaison. Are you fluent in Portuguese and English, as well as experienced in the administration of large commercial and corporate insurance business and/or other relevant customer service qualifications? What are the requirements for this position?
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both oral and written
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word and Excel
• Self-motivated, dedicated organised personality
• Good time management skills
• Willing to travel to Johannesburg and London for training

What are my responsibilities in this position?
• Processing client information on insurance administration system in both English and Portuguese
• Assisting with screening of Clients and relevant Parties
• Initial data entry for the Underwriting department in system
• Verifying and checking Policy documentation and Cover details carefully
• Issuing new Policies
• Processing endorsements
• Processing renewal documents
• Liaising with Clients, Brokers, Reinsurers and Insurers
• Printing and filing of Policy Documents as per filing system in place
• Managing all Policy documentation (both electronic and hard copies) in files
• Verifying and ensuring accuracy within all documents
• Ability to appreciate and respect the importance of confidentiality within the workplace
• Liaising with staff at company offices abroad
• Liaison and interaction with the Compliance and Claims departments
