KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? To manage new Projects works and Methods Maintenance of the company assets and ensure safety, quality and performance targets are achieved so as to position the Company as a world-class railway system operator.
? To develop and espouse high level standards and practices throughout the Maintenance Division.
? To ensure seamless travel for our customers that is safe, reliable, comfortable and friendly.
? To manage the asset portfolio within the financial controls and limits set by Method and Project Manager.
? To manage the maintenance function within the financial controls and limits set by Method and Project Manager.
? To create and update all project work flow processes and procedures throughout the Maintenance Division.
? To manage the completion of all latent defects and renewal throughout the Maintenance Division.
? To monitor the progress and completion of new projects in accordance with phases of project management.
? To participate in system improvement
? To perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

? National Diploma (Electrical Engineering)
? Safety management
? General technical knowledge
? General knowledge of Sub-systems
? Electrical Installation experience
? Construction experience
? Basic knowledge of Project Management and planning principles essential
? Fluent in English
? At least 3 years relevant experience in electrical engineering, project management background will be a great advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

? Development of all engineering standards and procedures to execute project works (new works, renewals and latent defects) throughout the Maintenance Division.
? Provide Project Management Programme.
? Participate in all new projects including renewals.
? Participate in ensuring completion and closure of NCR, LDN and WDN.
? Ensure suppliers and subcontractors services are scrutinised and all required contractual notifications and documentation are submitted.
? Advise Line Manager of anomalies in documents, specifications and drawings, by careful scrutiny throughout the contract.
? Manage project work progress and quality of work on site.
? Ensure adherence to agreed programmes by holding regular meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
? Ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to project specification.
? Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements
? Liaise with Maintenance Division Units with regards to the project progress and completion.
? Ensure EMV maintenance (CM and PM) activities are completed as scheduled and emergency vehicle is in good operating condition at all times. ? Monitor program and key deadlines.
? Maintain record (file) of all documentation pertaining to specific project.
? Devise and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
? Handover maintainable new plant and machinery to Operations Maintenance Units.
? Participate in system improvement processes.
? Direct the performance of service and ensure the compliance of safety and quality standards set by the Company.
? Ensure strategies and plans are developed to meet all departmental objectives and continually improve the standards.
? Adhere to Project Department monthly/quarterly/annual budget.
? Ensure all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Line Manager of any environmental and safety issue.
? Provide guidance and leadership to all sub-contractors and suppliers.
? Maintain good staff morale and job satisfaction and promote productivity movements in the department.
? Compile monthly progress reports on projects, renewal and latent defects.
? Review and maintain quality documentation in line with Quality Management System requirements.
? Conduct regular inspections and audits on suppliers and subcontractors.
? Undertake any other duties as assigned.
