Our Client, based in Cape Town, is an amazing digital marketing and advertisement company who currently has an exciting position open for an experienced PPC and Display Campaign Manager to join their successful team. Your impressive skills in managing Display accounts coupled with your understanding of DoubleClick, RTB, PPC, SEO and remarketing would highly desirable for this role.

Purpose of Job:
A Display Campaign Manager would be responsible for the day to day delivery of Display campaigns – their main responsibility is to manage, report and optimise a campaign in order to deliver against client volume and efficiency targets.
This role requires a good understanding of Display, Doubleclick Campaign Manager, Real Time Bidding, Doubleclick Bid Manager, remarketing and prospecting. The perfect candidate should also understand how other media can influence Display, as well as the principles of PPC and (SEO) Search Engine Optimisation.

Minimum Requirements:
? Have the ability to set up a Display campaign from scratch - from trafficking creative, setting up and implementing tracking to creating specific targeting strategies based on set KPIs.
? Be aware of your clients’ business targets and goals.
? Plan campaigns to deliver against targets and client marketing objectives
? Take on responsibility for the planning and forecasting of schedules
? Keep clients up to date on day to day changes in campaign performance and issues
? Incorporate testing into Display campaigns - for example creative testing, Landing page testing,
day-part targeting, keyword expansion etc…
? Take responsibility for the production of results and competitive analysis - Reporting campaign
performance on a weekly and monthly basis, (with fair support from Display Account Executives)
? Deliver a coherent commentary on results each week – including a summary of performance, key
influences, campaign optimisation, market forces and competitive positioning
? Attend status meetings, results meetings and produce contact reports to ensure all meeting
outcomes are reported and delivered against
? Have knowledge and experience of using campaign management tools - for example, Doubleclick,
Analytics packages such as Google Analytics and Omniture, as well as market research and
Display tools including Google Insights for Search and Display
? Support Senior Account Managers in delivering effective client service
? Liaise with relevant departments to deliver effective Account Management
? Demonstrate a good competency of using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
? Be administratively competent


Financial Responsibilities
? Deal with invoice queries quickly, alerting a senior team member to problems if necessary
? Be responsible for requesting and chasing PO’s.
? Ensure that all budgets are entered into platforms correctly and budgets are paced correctly on
daily basis.
? Ensure agreed budgets are not exceeded

People Management
? Liaise with line manager and aid in training and development of the Display Account Executives
? Ensure that Display Account Executives take control and ownership of their roles within the
account management process and that they understand the importance of their part.
· Ensure task sheets/apps and holiday/sickness forms/apps are kept up to date.
? Take your career management seriously, preparing for performance reviews and attending training planned for you, including workshops and department sessions

Development
? Continue on the job training and workshops and internal/external training sessions
? Identify new initiatives and opportunities on client accounts - for example, by testing landing pages,
creatives, utilising and upselling other display channels (Facebook, YouTube, direct media buys
etc.)
? Improve knowledge of client business to ensure greater appreciation of Search and Display
delivery in the overall mix
? Keep abreast of any developments in the Display market
? Gain and develop experience in other media, such as SEO and Search
