MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 7 years Project Management Experience
Minimum 5 years Built Environment Experience
Relevant Build Environment qualification
Minimum 5 years Programme Management Experience
Relevant Project, Programme Management qualification
Minimum 5 years Public Sector experience

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS

Development and Management of programme and project plans, including multiple plans
Take an active part in the project issue/risk management process by contributing to the identification and prioritisation of existing and potential issues and risks, and helping to develop strategies and controls to mitigate these
Use sound judgement to identify which issues and risks should be escalated to governance groups, and prepare relevant reports/documentation
Ensure project/programme compliance with organisation standards and highlight any issues to the Project Manager
Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Good knowledge and handling of programme and portfolio management methodology and techniques
Assess organisational capability
Support and assist the facilitation of key engagements with project practitioners and key stakeholders within line Departments, mainly at the initiation and planning phases of the project lifecycle
Support engagement sessions to resolve identified corrective actions
Collate updated statuses on identified action plans and progress monitoring
Build project management capability within the organisation by collaborating with other staff, coaching and mentoring others and generally encouraging the appropriate use of projects
Drive progress, status reporting and engagement schedules
Provide a skilled facilitation service to support the project teams in achieving expectations
Be responsible for project coordination and support.

QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE

Experience across large organizations and multiple departments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a determination to help meet client needs
Relevant Project, Programme Management qualification with post minimum 7 years and minimum 5 years Programme Management experience
Relevant Build Environment qualification with minimum 5 years Built Environment Experience
