MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 7 years Programme Management experience
Minimum 10 years Project Management experience
Minimum 5 years Change management experience
Relevant Project, Programme, Portfolio Management qualification

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS

Management of delivery of various initiatives within the organisation Directorates
Planning the overall programme and monitoring the progress
Coordinating the projects/programmes and their interdependencies
Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the programmes “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager
Managing the main programme documentations such as the programme initiation document
Overall project assessment and report writing
Collation and writing of management reports
Daily programme management throughout the program lifecycle
Defining the programme governance and controls
Managing the programmes budgets
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
Managing and utilising resources across programmes
Managing stakeholder communications
Good knowledge and handling of programme and portfolio management methodology and techniques
Good understanding of the wider objectives of the programme
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in programme management
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to find innovative ways for problem resolution
Managing large and complex projects
Facilitate and support the PPPM business integration
Assist in PPPM coaching and knowledge transfer
Draft a knowledge transfer plan

QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE

Experience within a leadership role in Programme Management with minimum 7 years’ experience
Experience across large organizations and multiple departments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a determination to help meet client needs
Relevant Project Management, Programme, Portfolio qualification with post minimum 10 years Project Management and minimum 7 years Programme Management experience
