PR Communications Specialist based in Sandton
Working directly with a top notch brand
Job Details:
Previous exposure working with electronic consumer products would be advantage

• Building and maintaining key media and influencer relationships (60% of role)

• Storyteller who can pitch brand story to media/influencers and demo product experience

• Oversee seed unit program with assistance from marketing assistant

• Flagging, managing and responding to queries from global brand teams

• Drafting of PR plans to be approved by comms head

• Plan and host PR events with assistance from marketing assistant

• Monitoring and evaluating coverage, compiling PR reports and providing report insights

• Fielding and answering media queries

• Creative input into PR campaigns and assets and other comms tools (mailers, social media etc.)

• Writing, briefing and overseeing dissemination of press releases to relevant media/influencer

• Share key coverage, projects and PR related news internally

Requirements:
o PR or journalism degree

o 3-4 years experience

o Relationship building and networking skills

o Writing skills

o Creative thinker who can help conceptualise PR campaigns and ideas

o Flexible - able to work on different brands

o Ability to travel

o Drivers license and own vehicle

CTC R 25 000 might be negotiable depending on experience
