My client seeks to employ a Half Day Preschool Teacher for a Play School in Durbanville.
Duties:
* Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children age 2 - 5 years.
* Provide nutritious snacks and lunches
* Provide adequate equipment and activities
* Ensure all facilities are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
* Provide weekly and monthly schedules of activities
*Individual assessment to children on each age group
* Ensure children are supervised at all times
* Build children's esteem
* Comfort children
* Establish routines
* Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner children of all ages understand
* Assisting with potty training
Requirements:

* N4 Qualification in Educare / Montessori Diploma or any Teaching Diploma or degree will be essential
* Afrikaans speaking is non negotiable (all children are Afrikaans)
* Must be based in Durbanville (Northern Suburbs of Cape Town)
* First Aid course will be highly recommended
* Min 2 years experience in Pre-School teaching (age 18 months - 5 years)
