My clients are a finance company seeking the right candidate who can unitise portfolios made available to clients via the Life platform

Qualification: BCOM degree
Years of Experience: 3 years in the financial industry

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for daily and monthly unitising of Life Portfolios
• Resolve Client queries from client services, actuarial, finance, portfolio managers and administrative personnel
• Checking and reconciliation of daily market values and cash flows
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Responsible cash flow and banking process for the division
• Technical/business knowledge of implications and requirements within the Life environment
• Detailed system observation, attention to detail and solving arising problems
• Reporting to finance, actuarial, portfolio managers & management
• Responsible for daily and month-end reporting.

Competencies & Special Requirements

• Experience in unitising Life portfolios
• Sound knowledge of the four funds tax approach pertinent to a Life company
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure
