Pricing Manager – Multi Product Line

Location: Boksburg

Salary: R34000 P/M
Define, in conjunction with Marketing Manager, Sales Managers and Commercial Director, the territory pricing in line with guidelines
Contribute to the pricing strategy deployment

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Vertical pricing
- Analyse sell-out positioning for our brands and for our competitors
- Build and share periodical sell-in tracking
- Track and analyse the distribution sell-in, sell-out and margin evolution for our brands and for our competitors
- Suggest price evolution according to market situation

Horizontal pricing

- Be responsible for the updating of territory price ramping
- Ensure that guidelines for price ramping are followed with and without commercial action
- Analyse territory price ramping and suggest evolutions
- Validate final sell in price for commercial actions and tenders to ensure net mini prices and corridors are respected
- Be in charge of price derogation request
- Tools and processes
- Coordinate the territory/zone PA process for pricing and make sure deliverables are properly provided
- Set with business analysts Key Billings for each brand following guidelines (vertical and horizontal)
- Follow zone guidelines for monetary parities
- Monitor Pricing tools for his entity

B2B :
- Prepare responses to bids in collaboration with sales organization; validates prices and steers them during contract validity.
- Put in place and manage risk protection system (Raw Material Clause, exchange rate clause
- In collaboration with marketing, participate in building the offer by defining premiums for pricing)
- Prepare the sales arguments for commercial account managers.
- Related to bids, recover all mandatory information/documents to build an answer, then decide targeted price and wall position. Validate quotation letter and associated conditions included.
- Is responsible for updating the price list for all on-going businesses
- Within the contract duration, update price list, validate annual negotiations and new process proposed by sales, included commercial conditions.
- Identify low margin businesses and proposes adjustments.
- In cooperation with Business Partner Controller, sets protection rules/guidelines to cover raw material fluctuations, currency exchange rate and inflation rate. Steer implementation of these rules/guidelines during contract duration. Evaluate quality of the protection system and propose if relevant actions to correct
- Calculate price evolution foreseen by raw materials clauses, commercial contribution clauses and inflation, and update price list
- Collect competitors prices and identify trends
- Realize price diagnosis to set pricing.

PREREQUISITES
• Tertiary education Degree in Marketing
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales or marketing operational activities- pricing if possible
