KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
• FET & Cost Planning – must be able to accurately establish costs estimate for input into product brief reply for budget approval and establish detail schedules in order to meet project milestones.
• FET Procurement – establish basic equipment specification and compile close tender bid package with clear and concise scope of work for both local and overseas procured facilities.
• FET installation preparation – equipment buy-off at vendor and Installation preparation including rough plant layout.
• FET Installation / commissioning – Close collaboration with customer (production), vendors to ensure safety compliance, product quality and other production related targets are achieved on time and within budget.
• Handover – Compile data from production trials and co-ordinate handover meeting with all related department/divisions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Qualifications (360 Credits), in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3- 5 years working experience in OEM’s (Ideally Automotive) or Manufacturing.
• High level of computer literacy is required for this position. (Excel, Word, AutoCAD)
• Project Management experience advantageous.
• Good technical knowledge of production systems.
• Experience in a jigs, fixtures and arc welding advantageous.
• Experience in Industrial Engineering is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Robot / PLC programming is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 & 14001 essential.
