Our client in the Retail Industry requires the services Private Label Product Developer to create and develop Private Label Products based on customer needs and lifestyle trends


Key performance areas:

? Product Development and Project Management
? Relationship building
? Brand Management

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Degree/Diploma in Food Science or Consumer Science or relevant qualification
? 2 – 3 years retail product development experience in the food industry
? 2 – 3 years private label experience
? 2 – 3 years project management and working to critical path experience would be an advantage
? End to end product and brand development knowledge
? Must be able to understand customer, market and competitor
? Must have an understanding of Private Label principles and strategies
? Range and project management knowledge
? Knowledge of legal compliance and regulations
? Knowledge of margin calculations and of buying practices
? Must have strong attention to detail and be highly organized
? Must be able to work independently
? Excellent computer skills
? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? Good presentation abilities
? Good relationship building skills
