Our client in the Retail Industry requires the services Private Label Project Manager to plan, manage and support Private Label project resources, specifically working on retail product packaging with supportive marketing activity for top performing brands.

? Budget and cost management

? People management


The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a 3 year degree/ diploma in marketing or related field
? Experience in packaging coordination and management, or senior marketing coordinator or similar role
? Private label experience
? Experience in the retail industry
? Agency and general marketing experience
? Understanding of packaging design principles
? Understanding of private label principles and strategies
? Knowledge and experience in pack sizes, die-lines, ingredient lists, net weight etc.
? Knowledge and experience with Brand name organizations (including trademark searches and registrations), creative design briefing and packaging artwork approval.
? Knowledge of legal compliance
? Excellent computer skills
? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? Good presentation abilities
? Good relationship building skills
