Process Engineer required for leading IT Group. Your skills and experience are required to analyse, design / optimise business processes and process governance across the Group towards improved efficiency (time, cost, volume, throughput and compliance) and effectiveness (the right services, solutions and products), contributing towards maximising customer satisfaction and operating profit.

Contribute towards creating the required operational capacity by designing standardised and optimised business processes:
Design new and existing business processes in conjunction with business partners by facilitating process mapping sessions, documenting the As-Is and To-Be, and ensuring that process maps are according to design principles and methodology
Validate gathered business process related information with stakeholders
Prepare as-is business process definitions in text and model form
Identify, model and redesign business processes
Plan the implementation of business process improvements
Develop To-Be process maps (with supporting documentation), data, application and technical models and then develop a best fit transition plan for moving from the As-Is to the To-Be environment
Clearly define product and service interrelationships and interdependencies, as well as the interfacing systems and applications used to deliver specific products / services
Participate in process related activities- including business process flows, gap analysis, ERD diagrams and reports specifications
Design and implement changes in processes within the business environment
Act as first point of escalation for business modelling related issues
Ensure high quality, adherence to standards and best practices, high performance, and scalable, repeatable processes and deliverables
Adhere to the Groups process modelling standards and methodology
Follow and maintain best practice and benchmarking principles and measurement criteria; and
Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.

Provide business process modelling and technical support and education to internal stakeholders:
Perform problem analysis, identifying root causes, outlining resolution options and providing guidance and support on those to business
Monitor Business Process Architecture deployment and compliance across the organisation; and proactively highlight any areas of concern
Identify business process improvement opportunities (efficiency improvements around time, cost, volume, throughput and compliance) and contribute towards building the business case;
Interact with business owners and peers to present possible process improvements and best-practices
Document business process requirements through research, interviews or facilitation sessions and assess current business processes, procedures and business rules
Ensure coordination, communication and control between functional and process owners
Resolve escalations as per defined escalation / resolution procedures
Effectively use technical skills to interact and collaborate to resolve processes issues, including comparing alternative approaches
Improve productivity and quality through leading practice initiatives
Participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Qualifications and experience required:
BSc Engineering or equivalent
National Diploma Engineering or equivalent
BComm Informatics/IT/information Systems/Risk Management
Project Management qualification or experience
2 - 3 Business Analysis experience
5 - 7 years’ experience in business process engineering
7 years’ experience in process mapping
3 - 5 six sigma experience (green or black belt)

Knowledge
Understand business requirements and the process to translate it into practical deliverables
Computer literacy: MS Office - full package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Extensive knowledge and use of Software Toolset : Visio, Aris, AGILE
Sound understanding of the principles of research, development and the formalisation, documentation and implementation of the agreed policy.
A full understanding of the customer value chain
Experience in Customer Portfolio Management
Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
