Salary: R350-450K Per Annum Including Benefits

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Process Engineering Manager within the Automotive & Manufacturing field. A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Candidates must have their own reliable transport. This permanent position is based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing, configuring and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start up & certification
• Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data
• Designing, running, testing and upgrading systems and processes
• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Perform process simulations
• Manage cost and time constraints
• Perform risk assessments
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions
• Supervise, lead, coach and mentor manufacturing engineers
• Champion scrap reduction focusing on reducing part-related scrap, working with product engineering, production, suppliers and quality
• Proven work experience in process engineering
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of quality process related standards
• Experience in process simulation
• Working knowledge of process engineering software package
• Computer Literate - CAD or AutoCad skills
• Knowledge health and safety regulations
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Matric; Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Progressively responsible management experience in manufacturing and process engineering
• 10-15 years Senior Engineering Role
• 5-10 years Leadership Engineering Role
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, manufacturing design, error proofing and ergonomics, health & safety & APQP
• Proven leadership, project management, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organisational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
• A track record success in teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
