B.Tech (NH Dip) / Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering
Tertiary qualification in Quality Management (City & Guilds Quality Engineering Certificate /B Tech / Unisa TQM, or equivalent)
ISO Internal / Vendor Auditor Certificate
4 Years in manufacturing / assembly / machining / painting of earth moving equipment / Automotive manufacturing / Assembly / painting environment
3 years application of Quality assurance & control methodologies
3 years Computer literacy: proficiency on Lotus & Microsoft (Word / Excel) range essential
3 year Management of quality personnel
Knowledge of various National & International Codes / Specifications / Standards
Statistical analytical skills & experience a necessity.
Must be proficient in English.
Good / well above average writing & verbal communication skills.
Must have business or commercial management exposure or training.
Applicants must have extensive experience in quality re-engineering (min 2 years).
Experience in implementing continuous improvement principles.
Ability to set up & ensure excellent customer or supplier relationships.
Management experience (2 years or more)
Applicants with facilitation & training skills will have an added advantage.
NDT experience will be an added advantage.
Minitab (SPC software) will be an added advantage.
