Position: Process / Industrial Engineer
Location: East London
Type: Permanent

Requirements:
- Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Diploma / Degree
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in an automotive manufacturing facility
- Computer literate - advanced Excel

Responsibilities:
- Provide ETE with the relevant information for building of assembly boards, fitment of tooling as well as equipment changes
- Assist in product quality
- Generate Visual Aids, Process Guides and Work Instructions
- Responsible along with the Product Engineer for the approval of prototypes and manufacturing samples with the customer
- Propose Workshop Times to the Lead Engineer for approval
- Develop tooling
- Conduct time and motion studies
- Conduct cutting and lead prep cost studies
- Support and agree with Logistics prior to issuing the production plan
- Identify and assess manufacturing design issues
