Job Description
Ensure effective communication within the draughting department
Ensure design compliance with the relevant project specific codes and standards
Ensure design compliance with the project, process and client specification and requirements
Mechanical equipment data sheets and specifications preparations
Inspect and review vendor documents
Assist with technical revision and assessment of tenders and provide recommendations
Plant layout design assistance and planning of drafting resources during the planning and preparation of drawing outputs
Provide and revise lists of materials with quantities (MTO’s)
Suggest ways to improve efficiency, costs and service in the execution of projects.
Minimum Requirements
Mechanical Engineering Degree
6 + years postgraduate experience
Relevant design experience in the Mining Industry (Processing plants) is essential
Relevant circuit design experience pertaining to processing plants ie.Grinding circuits, Classification circuits, Gravity Concentration circuits, Leaching circuits, Reagents circuits etc. .
Experience on either SolidWorx / MicroStation / CAD / SCADA / Revit Software packages
