• DEGREE / QUALIFICATION IN ENGINEERING ( CHEMICAL / METALLURGICAL/MECHANICAL)
• 5 YEARS HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH VIBRATING SCREENS, DESIGN & MANUFACTURING THEROF (NOT MAINTENANCE ONLY)
• EXP IN FUNCTIONS RELATING TO SALES OF VIBRATING EQUIPMENT
• LIAISE AND SUPPORT EXISTING CLIENTS
• SUBMISSION OF TENDERS
• REGULAR SITE VISTS (SOUTH AFRICA AND ABROAD)
• EQUIPMENT DESIGN
• SITE ASSESSMENTS
• MONITOR OF PRODUCT PERFORMANCE
• EQUIPMENT AUDITS
• MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
• DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS
• TECHNICL KNOW HOW
• ADVISE TO CLIENTS
The ideal candidate will have exposure to vibrating equipment design as well as mineral processing, however, we will also consider candidates with the appropriate qualifications and who are willing and capable of being trained in-house on our particular products’ designs and manufacturing.
• Sales: All functions relating to the sales of vibrating equipment, from the enquiry to the commissioning stage. Liaise with and support existing clients; Submission of tenders; Compilation of quotations; Liaison with clients (Project houses, Mines, etc.); Regular site visits; Maintenance and expansion of relationships with clients; Attend to after sales queries.

• Process Engineering: Equipment design; Site assessments; Monitor of product performance; Equipment audits; Maintenance contracts; Design improvements; Technical know-how and advice to client.

As a condition for permanent employment the successful candidate will be expected to master, inter alia, these specific duties:
1. Promote and maintain a sound long-term relationships with those clients allocated to his portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Managing and interpreting a client’s requirements;
b. Process design audits and specification of equipment for new installations/projects;
c. Compilation and submission of tenders, negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both the client’s and company’s needs;
d. Commissioning of new equipment;
e. Delivering on quality, pricing and lead times;
f. Providing technical support to clients in respect of CLIENT equipment installed in the field;
g. Inspection and assessment of existing installations with a view to offering improved equipment.
2. Marketing and promotion of CLIENT equipment and services in order to maintain existing client base and expand to new clients.
3. Regular travelling to clients’ sites, across Southern Africa and abroad.
4. Assist other members of the sales team with process and other technical issues where required.
5. Assist the Spare Parts Department with technical details regarding the equipment installed at client’s operations.
6. Improve CLIENT equipment design.
