This challenging position exists in the Technical Department , and the successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager.

Process Technologist
Qualification
Minimum educational requirement is a B.Eng Degree in Control, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering. Theoretical understanding of Process Engineering will be assessed.
Experience
Three to five years’ industrial experience in a process technology environment. Sound knowledge of glass making will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
? Analysis of Production data to establish conformance to operating and process standards
? Perform physical tests to verify data in the event of non-conformance
? Interpret, analyse, and test outcomes to recommend corrective action to maintain the process control
? Monitor implementation of recommendations
? Assess the causes of process deviations and determine methods to avoid recurrence
