Position Description Overview
Management of purchase order process and all procurement related administration, for the purpose of relieving the Senior Procurement officer during Maternity Leave.

Roles and Responsibilities
Sourcing of suppliers for best prices best quality, and availability of products (Local and Abroad)
Sourcing of quotations as per clients requests and PM”s BOM’s
Chasing up o orders placed with regards to delivery times
Take responsibility for logistics of returns
Responsible to educate subordinates in all departments that fall within supply chain process to adhere to protocols
Handling of purchasing process until delivery
Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time
Maintaining good relationships with suppliers ad renegotiate prices on a regular basis
Liaison with shipping of goods via the company’s shipping agent locally and abroad
Conduct monthly stock takes and resolving of discrepancies
Assist with ad-hoc deliveries

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Matric or equivalent
2 years’ experience in procurement
Computer Literate (MS office package specifically excel)
