Procurement Assistant - Cape Town

Job Description:

Obtain quotations from applicable service providers
Placing of day to day Ad-hoc purchase orders
Following up on deliveries and payments
Processing of suppliers Paperwork and invoices
Resolve pricing queries
Price negotiations with suppliers
Co-ordinate factory maintenance and repairs with contractors
Ad-hoc functions as required
Administrative duties

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification: Grade 12
Ideal Qualification: Related certificate / Diploma in Purchasing / Admin fields
Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
Syspro experience advantageous
1-3 years in Purchasing / Manufacturing environment
Excellent knowledge of consumables and parts / stock
