Qualification
• Matric
• Recognised qualification in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management

Experience
• Recognized knowledge of contracts and contractual terms and a property/Facilities Management background is an advantage
• 3-4 years working experience

Responsibilities:
Procurement Contract Management
Ensure all documentation is received back and safely stored
Monitor contract compliance
Ensure measure of suppliers are in place (KPIs established for each contract)
Obtain input regarding KPIs from units
Conduct trend analysis from measures and feedback and identify strategies to improve suppliers
Assist with negotiation and development of contract agreements
Approve motivations for contracts and present motivations to group procurement committee
Ensure adherence to procurement policies
Research and provide advise on contract strategies
Align negotiated contract terms and conditions
Develop sound and legally compliant contracts
Measure both real and potential savings and operational benefits
Ensure audit trail for all documentation
Ensure all documentation is received back and is signed
All documents are updated in the idrive
Maintain the vendor list database ensuring it is updated at all times

Procurement Policy

Assist with the implementation of the GRT procurement policy
Contribute to the GRT procurement policy creation
Provide advice to staff on policy queries
Promote procurement best practice
Ensure compliance to ISO9001, 14001 and 18001
Ensure adherence to the policies and escalate to Procurement manager when non-conformances are identified
Manage the cost effectiveness and centralized procurement processes in line the procurement policy

Contractor/Supplier Liaison
Respond and Resolve internal and external contract queries
Respond to both internal and external queries within the required timeframe
If unable to resolve, reassign to relevant person
Reinforce compliance to procurement policy
Attend quarterly supplier meetings and resolve any areas of risk
Discuss areas and strategize ways to improve with the suppliers
Ensure progress to year-over-year supplier improvement goals
