Matric with a CPIM or B.Com/Materials Management/Production Planning and advanced PC literacy in Excel, Word and Syspro. One must be experienced in the management of the flow of materials, negotiation with suppliers, agreements and monitoring supplier performance, cost saving and cost reductions of raw materials and components as well as managing cost saving projects, stock management in conjunction with production planning team and must come from a position where you have previously managed/supervised and been involved staff appraisals and training needs.
