Job Description

Assignment Management, Expenditure and Follow-up on outstanding purchase orders
Distributing purchase orders
Creating and maintaining good relationships with vendors / suppliers.
Maintaining records of purchases, pricing and other important data
Reviewing and analysing all vendors/suppliers, supply and price options
Developing plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
Executing of Foreign payments
Maintaining accurate records of foreign payments
Administering customs paperwork
Communicating with suppliers on daily basis
Calculating landed costs of imported products
Utilising National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications LOA
Determining queries re-shipments and pricing matters between suppliers and clearing agents.

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification added benefit
At least 5 years working experience within related inventory exposure with procurement.
Excellent MS Excel and Mathematics skills required
Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems.
Well presented with strong communication skills
