Our client in the Banking Sector based in Johannesburg CBD is recruiting for a Product Analyst to identify key market trends, analyze the application of key insights to identify key product, engaging with stakeholders, ensure that process, systems and customers are efficiencies. Assist with customer and relationship management queries and develop tools to assist in clients servicing

Job Description:
• Providing support to the PBC Credit Product Manager. The PBC credit products include Overdrafts, Revolving Loans and Temporary Loans.
• Focus on the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the PBC Credit Products.
• Key aspects of the product lifecycle; product innovation, development and implementation; input into product pricing and MIS.
• Manage small to large projects related to product enhancement and compliance.
• Build the Bank’s relationships with its clients through the implementation of great products and service optimization.
• Manage product reporting and understanding of profitability drivers.
• Initiate and manage product research and data analysis; understand the needs of the client base.
• Ensure that the products, sales initiatives and changes made are legally compliant. They also fulfil all risk and compliance needs.
• Identifying key market trends that require a competitive response
• Analysis and application of key insights to identify key product opportunities
• Analytical skills and ability to extract, manipulate, interpret and present data effectively
• Collaborate with client facing teams to ensure alignment of strategy
• Collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders
• Ensure process, system and customer efficiencies
• Assist with customer and relationship manager queries, and development of tools to assist in client servicing

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Banking or Business
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a product role or similar position is ideal.
• Knowledge of credit products, and organisation’s systems and channels preferred.
• An understanding of key legislation that affects credit products, insurance and banking in general e.g. NCA, FAIS, FICA, POPI, TCF and CPA.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
