Position: Product and maintenance manager
Operate from South Africa with a USA company
Salary: Candidate will be paid in US dollars. Negotiable on experience (USD$ 750 – 1500) SA currency from R10000 – R21000 p/m
Note: 90 day trial period after which the salary will be increased based on performance
Important to consider: Working hours in South Africa will be from Monday to Friday from 15h00-23h00 to coordinate with USA day working hours.
Additional hours may be required depending on the client project

Job requirements

• Non-negotiable: Must have uncapped Wi-Fi, superfast Internet connection and Skype facilities – Please do not apply if you do not have this
• Candidate who has dealt with product design (TV mountings), technical installing of televisions, measurements and installing will be ideal for this position
• Need to have an understanding of maintenance and sourcing suppliers
• Will deal closely with Fedex on package routing, claims, etc.
• Will need to be a good organizer and communicator as you will deal with clients worldwide regarding an upmarket product to designed to client requirements
• Absolute passion for service is a very important
• Need to be able to communicate well with high-level customers and be able to meet their demanding needs
• Will need to locate AV dealers/installers on 5 continents and schedule installs for customers
• Will be responsible for monitoring all orders immediately after shipment
• Responsible for a successful installation
• Motivate the customer to write a positive online review and send pictures for marketing gallery
• Able to deal with various customer projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize
• Able to understand measurements, TV features, and the mechanics of installing a tv mount, tv on it, and frame, and he/she will need to walk installers through the installation (we will train, but a native interest in these types of things will help a lot)
• Key responsibility is dealing with customer issues immediately and anticipating customer post-sale pro-actively
• Need to ensure absolute excellent customer satisfaction.
