* Must be comfortable working underground for more than 8 hours at a time

* Must be able to withstand high heat enviroments
* Must be emotionally calm (Not given to anger or quick irritation)
* Must be physically fit and in good shape

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Mining Mechanicals sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Feasibility analysis of new design concepts
* Prototype development
* Develop project plans for designs with timelines
* Design implementation using 3D and 2D CAD
* Design documentation
* Experiment with different materials, manufacturing processes and design tolerances
* Incorporate safety factors into the design
* Enhance existing designs - Ongoing R&D
* Field testing underground in mine

* Adv: Mining and Underground Experience

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R360K to R700K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
