Our client requires the services of a Product Developer to assist in the development of a product for the Fresh Food division

Key Performance areas:

? Product Development
? Recipe development
? Packaging and labelling input facilitation
? Product specifications management and facilitation of information to suppliers
? Developed product hand-over
? New product launch management

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Consumer Science / Food Technology qualification
? 1 – 2 years experience with bakery product development in the food industry
? 3 – 4 years food knowledge
? Knowledge of quality assurance, the R.1.46 Food Stuffs and Cosmetic act
? Quality assurance knowledge
? Must have well developed writing and reporting skills
? Must be able to grasp new concepts, cope with pressure and handle set backs
? Excellent planning and organizing skills
? Ability to deliver results
? Excellent people skills
