My client, a leading manufacturing company based on the East Rand is currently seeking the expertise of a Product Development Engineer-Design.

Minimum Requirements:
B.Eng (Electrical / Mechanical)
Minimum 5 years in a product development discipline
Thorough knowledge of product development procedures and methodologies

Responsibilities:
Specify, design, develop and evaluate electrical / electronic products, subsystems or components
Assist in the design, development and evaluation of customer applications
Participate in failure diagnostics processes as required for customer and product support
Applying best practice methods and procedures for testing mechanical components or sub-systems
General understanding of the manufacturing and production processes
