My client based in Century City, Cape Town has a job opening for a Product Development Manager who will help create and innovate the software needed to run their global online B2C gaming operations, including systems for Customer Service, Marketing, CRM, brand website development, DWH/BI, web analytics and the supporting frameworks and tools for one of the largest global online gaming groups. The successful candidate will be one who can work well within a dynamic and fast paced environment, using Agile and self-organizing principles for our teams to deliver the highest quality new products.

Your job responsibilities as Product Development Manager will include:
- Ensure that the software created is properly architected and developed in line with existing and
future technologies
- Drive continuous improvements in code quality, processes, architecture and organization within
the development team
- Drive innovative technical solutions in the areas of architecture, integration, tools, performance
optimization, metrics and dashboards
- Responsible for the overall enterprise architecture and design
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead teams to execute the product
vision and strategy
- Design and implement rigorous software development processes and oversee the development,
testing, release, and maintenance of all software products

Minimum requirements for this opportunity based in Century City, Cape Town:
- 10+ years IT experience
- IT Qualification
- Experience managing a team of software developers, architects, QAs, Product Owners and Scrum Masters working across a variety of cross functional Agile Product teams.
- Previous experience managing a large delivery environment, have a deep understanding of Agile development methods and have led the delivery of software solutions.
- Candidates who come from an ecommerce environment will gain an added advantage.
