Minimum Requirements:
? Technical qualification mandatory
? Previous experience in the Power and Control and Distribution landscape mandatory
? Sales and Sales management experience advantageous
? Previous product management experience

Jobs Specifications
The incumbent must:
? Take direct responsibilities for sales volume increase of the Energy range of products on the Southern African market
? These products include Power Factor, Genset controllers, Solar systems, UPS and others with the respective sales managers, devise, deploy and monitor tactics for the volume increase of the said ranges
? Maintain an infrastructure of the documentation and collateral from the principle suppliers and ensure effective deployment of the material to the right channels
? Maintain a database of the competitor’s landscape with regards to price levels and offers, to constantly position the organization offers correctly on the different markets.

Be the Technical and Commercial expert for theses ranges in the company and ensure all sales and technical support staff are up-skilled on a regular basis:
• Ensure the training support staff are adequately equipped to deliver technically sound training
• Ensure internal technical support staff are adequately equipped to deal with customer queries in this regard as the first level of support
• Ensure Internal Sales Staff are adequately equipped to deal with customer requests and queries in this regard
• Ensure External sales staff are trained to deal with application and industry specific know-how to create a deeper knowledge and skills base , beyond only product knowledge
• Provide monthly feedback to management and respective sales managers a summary of the actions and effects
• Participate in channel activities with the respective sales engineers and sales managers to seek volume growth opportunities
• Actively follow the relevant consultants in order to have early project involvement and build a solid reputation for the organization at consultant level
• Manage seamlessly, and be directly involved, with the launch of new offers to the market and the subsequent inventory management for correct stock holding
• Interface directly with the principle suppliers to generate and deploy best practices for volume growth
• Generate white papers and short form guides to assist local staff with their accounts
