A qualification (Degree/National Diploma) in either Commerce, Marketing or Engineering with a minimum of 3 - 5 yeras' experience in the automotive industry. Proven competency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.

KPA:

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Manager, Product Planning by fulfilling the following responsibilities: Market Segment Analysis, Competitor Activity Analysis and data base update, Market Operation Carline input to Program teams, Maintenance of responsible car line life cycle plan and Support Africa region portfolio activities (Long Term volume plan/Portfolio Sufficiency Review and changes).

The second element of the position is to support the Program Manager in executing flawless program launches in South Africa and designated Export Markets. Key areas of responsibility include co-ordination of Program Management activities with regard to: Program communication, Tracking Program imperatives versus targets, Monitoring / maintaining Program timing milestones, Implementation of Program content changes and Co-ordination of Global Vehicle Development / Launch process activities.
