Job Description:

To partner and support/assist the retail brands with the development and implementation of the product strategy
Ensure the growth of the product is based on agreed objectives and overall brand strategy
Consult different functional areas that influence the transformation and execution of the product strategy
Identify and implement new product enhancements to create product awareness & encourage customer retention
Develop and implement innovative opportunities, enhancements and business processes
Represent the organization as the key stakeholder at various committees and forums
Interpret and analyse relevant data to gain insights into commercial products
Drive marketing campaigns for product acquisition and product turnover objectives
Negotiate marketing initiatives with brand stakeholders
Monitor and report on all marketing activities and results
Collaborate with brand stakeholders and provide input on the product marketing plan
Provide input to and follow approved marketing annual budget
Conduct customer behavior research; analyse and provide insights on customer research, current market and competitor offerings related to the product
Contribute towards the product performance targets and business objectives
Ensure brand uniformity across all communication channels
Network with group stakeholders and leverage from the group’s best practices
Ad hoc duties and involvement in projects as required

Qualifications:

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification. BCom Degree or equivalent
2-5 years’ experience within Financial Services & Payments Solution in a Retail environment
3-5 years’ experience in Product Management in a Retail environment
Strong understanding of product management and product / customer life cycles
Able to think creatively & innovatively
Strong collaboration and influencing skills
Statistical and Analytical knowledge
Strong English communication skills (verbal & written) as well as presentation skills
Strong Computer Literacy (MS Office)
Respectful; Accountable and Passionate individual
Driver’s license and own transport – essential
Building and Maintaining relationships and able to function independently
