One of our clients in the Electronic Manufacturing industry is looking for a Production Assistant for night shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Printing of solder paste onto printed circuit boards.
• Visual inspection of solder paste printing prior to SMT assembly.
• Loading of printed circuit boards in pick and place machines.
• Loading and monitoring of component feeders on machines.
• Loading and unloading of magazines.
• Basic operation of various production machines.
• Hand placing components on printed circuit boards.
• Visual inspection of assembled pcbs prior to reflow.
• Touch-up printed circuit boards and components.
• Counting of components and printed circuit boards.
• De-panellising of printer circuit boards.
• Assembly or modification of printed circuit boards to layouts or any instructions.
• Adhering to applicable production associated paper work and procedures.
• Identify and interpret SMT component values.
• Give feedback or suggestions to supervisor to improve workman standards or department procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• A peoples’ person with strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.
• Dynamic person with a special interest in SMT production.
• Technical Qualification.
• Previous experience with SMT will be beneficial.
• Experience in IPC 610 will be beneficial.
• Computer literate.
