Role Production Demand Planner
Location Cape Town - Northern Suburbs

Experience +5 years Production Demand Planning & having worked with SysPro ERP
Education Diploma – Supply Chain Management/ Business Qualification etc
Salary Market Related – depending on education, experience and current CTC
Deadline As soon as possible

Role focus : coordinate effective production demand forecasting and inventory management for the manufacturing factory to meet product demand.

KPAs:

Planning
• Demand forecast via prior monthly sales analysis and trends
• Draft Master Schedule to illustrate lead times for each operation required to meet forecast
• Prepare and plan production schedules by extrapolating sales orders and determination of stock hold
• Expeditions of ops that cause delays and adjust schedules when necessary
• Investigate errors, exceptions to make recommendations or implement corrective action.
• liaise relevant stakeholders to co-ordinate new product and new packaging launches being added to production lines

Reporting
•Reporting - constantly manage reporting process e.g. production reports, weekly and monthly reports
•Reporting on all production planning activities – and analysis of results to recommend improvements via collaboration with procurement

Inventory Management
• Maintain safety stock levels via trend assessment
• Ensure correct stock levels (over and under stocked) and proposition of stock write offs – packaging and finished goods
• Inventory planning and execution of all planning and forecasting

Personal Skills & Attributes
• Highly attentive to detail and accuracy
• Analytical, with strong planning ability
• Excellent communication skills – all round
• Strong problem solving skill set and able to prioritize

Education and Experience
• Supply Chain management Diploma / Degree or Business Qualification
• + 5 years Production Demand Planning
• + 3 years SysPro experience
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, word and outlook) as well as sql queries
