PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE (SIGNAGE ENVIRONMENT)

Position reports to the Managing Director.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To oversee all the daily activities within the factory including:

1. Managing Factory Manager, Supervisors and workers;
2. Monitor the manufacturing process in the factory;
3. To ensure quality control standards are upheld during and on completion of work;
4. Ensure that completion dates are met within the different departments;
5. Work according to a production schedule and attend planned production meetings;
6. Report delays (work related and material) and potential problems arising in the facility to the Managing Director;
7. Communicate any unforeseen delays in production and/or deliveries of raw material to Project Managers;
8. Liaise closely with Installation Management regarding specific installation requirements;
9. Evaluate the necessity to work overtime by Supervisors/workers;
10. Ensure that regular inspections and checks are executed by the Supervisors;
11. Ensure that daily toolbox talks are held and forms are completed correctly;
12. Monitor housekeeping in conjunction with Supervisors;
13. Maintain a clean factory clean, free of health and safety concerns;
14. Assist and serve on the Health & Safety Committee and ensure that all issues are resolved and finalised;
15. Be familiar and understand the OHS Act and relevant regulations;
16. Be familiar with the ISO procedures of the Company;
17. Assist with the training of staff as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade 12/ preferably with a tertiary technical qualification;
2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans;
3. Be able to work additional hours occasionally as and when required;
4. Technical understanding of signage manufacturing, transportation and installation;
5. Must have 5 years senior production management experience.
