Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Matric / N3
• Production Qualification
• Related Trade Test
• 3+proven experience in a Management / Supervisory position in Powder Coating such experience in Production within the Steel and Engineering Industry
• Knowledge and experience in water treatment and water treatment equipment
• Computer Literate
• Drivers License
• Exercise authority and discipline
• Communication skills
• Time Management skills
• Dedicated and organized
• Willing to work irregular and long hours if required
• Willing to work shifts as required

Duties:
• Manage the Powder Coating Department & responsible for the Powder Coating Production output
• Plan production schedules to ensure that targets are met
• Complete production schedules on a daily basis
• Maintain the coating quality as per the work instruction and that work quality is up to standard
• Complete quality check sheet forms
• Ensure all tools are available to perform the required work and maintained tool checks
• Report on breakdowns and poor maintenance
• Ensure discipline is maintained in the department
• Complete clock cards on a weekly basis
• Ensure all files are kept up to date (safety, quality, production and maintenance)
• Manage and monitor tools within the Department in liaison with the OHS Manager
• Be responsible and accountable for all OHS matters within the Department
• Keep Foreman, operation and safety files up to date
• Manage the Department store and all materials involved
• Make jigs / fixtures required for the machine operation
