Manufacturer of fine quality frozen desserts and cakes with offices based in Mkondeni PMB is seeking the services of an ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCTION MANAGER to work in cake production.

PREFERENCE WILL be given to male candidates as the successful candidate needs to handle heavy loads.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Strong numerical skills a must
Knowledge of Recipes, weighing skills etc.…..
Should have a food background, i.e. Chef, baker or similar
Catering or Bakery experience and advantage
Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) a plus
Retail experience an advantage

Duties include (but not limited to)
Manage a small team (6-8 staff)
Able to work independently and without supervision
Willing to work shifts at a later stage
Working in and organizing daily production
Staff management
Production planning
Making sure production is done on time and to specification

It is an entry level position and training will be provided . Salary on offer is R 10-12K CTC dependant on experience.
